yes, i saw it!
- soon i’ll try to develop some converter for that, or make some further use
(actually, from the lua plugins i developed for GrafX2 years ago, that i shared at
http://nitrofurano.altervista.org/lua/ , using ql/bbcmicro halftone filter (cluster 4 specially), and then cellcolourreducer (2x3 cells) on 80x75 pictures, you might get results like
http://i.xomf.com/zxzlz.png - and as well, i’m specially interested on videotext because i also want to create stuff for Philips-P2000 - actually, the work from Raquel Meyers is really worth seeing about videotext )
my approach were mostly experimental, and that 16colour-grayscale experiment i actually made years ago, like
http://www.boriel.com/wiki/en/index.php ... e_Leaf_Rag - and i also want to try other ways, like converting pictures from MZ700 and Mattel-Aquarius, and so on - i’m actually interested on trying all approaches as possible
4kb (i guess...) pictures using all setet/seteg, like those from Salut l’Artiste, or that one from Tortues, really interests me, and i’m interested on editors or converters that would try to get the most of that (for now i’m only getting inaccurate and incoherent results like
http://i.xomf.com/bllsc.gif (vg5000 has only 192 setet/seteg available, not 1000!
- the code of this embryonic converter is at
http://pastebin.com/raw/QcZcDjC9 , it’s still very dirty because it’s based from another one for zx-spectrum ) , but i’m trying to work on it - perhaps a good result would be mixing with videotext tiles somehow and allow some tile repeating optimization )
