Hello JC,
It's nice to hear that SMC-777 is known in France too SMC-777 is Sony's domestic microcomputer with Z-80 CPU.
Sony intended to promote SMC as "Japanese Apple][" and ported several major Apple][ games.
As far as I know, followings are the ported titles:
A.E.
Aztec
Lode Runner
Championship Lode Runner
Choplifter
Star Blazer
Bug Attack (Copy of Centipede)
Miner 2049er
Since Sony was not a major player in microcomputer market, SMC was not successful and their focus moved to MSX format that you may know.
I correct more than 90% of software titles for SMC, 70% in original package and user manuals.
I also reserve two SMC-70, four SMC-70G, four SMC-777 and two SMC-777C (white enclosure version of SMC-777), original Trinitron monitor, two SMI-720 printers and several external 3.5' drives (1DD).
There's Windows emulator for SMC-777 called WinSMC that enables you to run SMC titles on Windows PC.
I'm sorry but the user interface is in Japanese so you may not be able to run it but just for your information.
I also created utility software to save 1DD floppy disk content as DOS image file and almost all available SMC titles are preserved as image files so we don't have to worry about the extinction of floppy drives.
