TO8D: Disk Drive Voltage and some Gotek/HXC questions

Hi,

well, i need some infos about the power values of the TO8D Disk Drive, 'cause i want to connect a gotek, which needs only 5V.

Where can i find the correct values of this connector?

However the colors are wrong in the schematics. With the real TO8D the two middle white wires are the ground. The black wire is +12V and the third white wire is +5V.

I know, that the fd files could be loaded with the "raw image loader" ... I really can't find a deeper going info about using the fd files with the gotek/hxc drive.

There is very few Thomson owners using the Gotek, this is why you cannot find more information.

On the other hand, with the SDMOTO interface and the CS91-280 controller, you'll find help from this forum and from the dcmoto website : http://dcmoto.free.fr/bricolage/cs91-280/index.html

Yes Daniel, i know. We talked about this some month aga, but It's hard to find a CS91-280 ... and my french is bad and the translator itools are all crap.

A good guy built an interface for me ...
