hello from greece ia bougt a thomson mo 5 with ligtpen datacassete and many book
the problemm is that in booting the mo5 have this screen
the border is yello with black lines
i put a new 6809 and a new 6821
and i change the six4416 with new
any suggestions?
the problemm remains the same
i cant find the 8449a1 efgj03l
maybe iw this
?

This pattern is typical of video ram initialization. The diagnostic is : the processor doesn't run.
You should check the Reset switch, the clock, the address decoding circuitry (first the 74LS32), the gate array, the ROM...
This is not easy to debug this kind of problem without a Logic Analyzer, or at least an oscilloscope.
If you are lucky, it may be a loose contact in the gate array socket. Just take it out and put it back in place.

74LS32 are two near in memory or the othrer near to reset?

IW20, not far from the Reset button. You can also check IW27 (74LS86), IW32 (74LS20), and others TTL gates nearby.
