hi everyone!
i were seeing that external ram extensions were quite usual for VG5000 in the 80’s (but it seems to look a bit fragile, imho)
is there anyone that tried successfully to add 32kb of ram internally, by soldering it, as components or as a kind of kit? where from can we find instructions, like diagrams, components needed, etc.?
(i found some instructions around related to ZX81 and other z80-based hardware, so i guess it wouldn’t be that difficult on VG5000 as well?)

Yes, it's feasible, you can find a sample of such a machine in this topic : viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7894&p=126573&hilit=vg5000#p126573
I don't know about the schematics though.
Some people also managed to reproduce external RAM extention : viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7568
