Nice collecting ! A pity your Enterprise 128 is out of order, that's a really nice computer that haunted my wildest dreams :-).

Can you give me the serial number of your VG5000 ? I try to maintain a database of them on the website http://vg5000bazar.free.fr. You can find this information on a label on the bottom of the machine. Thanks :-).

And you own French computers that are not common on your side of the Channel.

Thank you. My VG5000 is currently on loan to Play Events Ltd as they used some of my collection at a retro gaming event. When I get it back (February) I will find out the serial number.

I do not collect to hide the computers away and take them to Retro Gaming Events here in the UK so other people can also see, use and enjoy the machines. Many had not seen or heard of the French computers before until I took them to the events.

I also own a Dutch Import Thomson TO7 but is does not appear to work properly, and unrepairable.

Many of the French systems came from EBay France by sellers who would post to me in the UK. But I have been unable to buy some systems because the sellers who would not post to me in the UK. I would love to own a TO9 and get more games on cartridge for the Excelvision as I only have Tennis (the speech is very impressive in that game). I would like to find Guppy though. The infrared keyboard and joysticks were way ahead of their time. I love these French systems but wish I knew more about the history of them and stories, so I could tell other people.

Here is a picture of some of my collection at an event I went to earlier this year. I rented a big van to take everything. All the televisions are also mine.

You can see some French systems on the right - Alice 90, Excelvision, Hector 2HR and VG5000. Some other systems in my collection are also French as they have Peritel/SCART which produces a better picture quality than the UK RF Only systems.

These systems are also French with peritel connectors:
Atari 7800, Colecovision, Mattel Aquarius, Videopac 7401, Master System 2, Sega SC-3000, TI 99/4A, Yeno Super Cassette Vision

Thanks anyway ! I am pleased to see that France still exports computers :-). Can I update the filelist changing "E-Bay_11" by your nickname ?
