I got two MO5 ...
One works without any failures (with the rubber keyboard):
The other one with the mechanical keyboard "works" too, but shows some weird colours and stripes. All keys work, so i think, it is only a video problem ...
So my question is ... what "could" be faulty?
Thanks.

Re: Thomson MO5 - faulty screen / colours
Perhaps a bad connection with some scart pins on the mother board.

Re: Thomson MO5 - faulty screen / colours
I checked them, but they seem to be ok.
Re: Thomson MO5 - faulty screen / colours
You should also check the connections inside the scart connector. And also the pins may be damaged.

Re: Thomson MO5 - faulty screen / colours
So it should be a scart or connector and no IC problem?
Re: Thomson MO5 - faulty screen / colours
Connection problems are common. Electronic faults are not impossible but very rare with the MO5, because it does not have a video processor.

Re: Thomson MO5 - faulty screen / colours
I gently pressed the SLGA and it works.
