Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs
Appologies for posting in English, but my French is not very good.
I own a Hextor 2HR+ but the original joysticks are not very good quality and have broken.
I have tried plugging in a standard wired Commodore 64 joystick but it did not work and I think the pin outs on the joystick may be different.
Does anyone know what the joystick port pin outs on a Hextor 2HR+ are and if it would be possible to but a lead which will convert them to the standard Commodore 64 pin outs?
I am also looking for PC software/program which will convert Hector K7 files to WAV audio files. I can only find software which will convert WAV to K7 which is the opposite of what I am looking for. If anyone can help I would really appreciate your help.

Re: Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs

Do you mean you're looking for a converter to save from a file back onto a tape or from a tape into a file ?StarshipUK a écrit :Merci pour votre aide. J'ai envoyé un message pour lui.

Re: Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs
A file back onto tape. But instead of tape I use a portable music device which has a 16GB SD card and plays WAV files.
I have downloaded K7 files which I would like to convert to WAV files so I can load the games on the real machine.
I have done this with VG5000 K7, Alice K7 and TO5 K7 files to WAV files using the converters at http://dcmoto.free.fr/ and they work and the games load on the real machines. But there is no converter there for the Hector K7 files.

Re: Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs
I programmed all the k7 to wav converters for the Alice, VG5000, Thomson MO, Thomson TO, EXL100.
Unfortunately, I don't own the Hector, so I cannot test the converter for this system. This is why there is only a wav to k7 converter at http://dchector.free.fr . I can try to make the k7 to wav program if you agree to test it for me.
Another way is Mess casstool.exe http://www.mess.org/mess/howto#mess_tools
I don't know if it is available and can do the conversion, I didn't ever find it with a Google search

Re: Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs
Hello,
for the joystick the pin out :
(extract from the Hectorien N°1)
for the CINWAV program : he's included with the interact emulator from emucompboy.
You can download it at the bottom of the page :http://www.reocities.com/emucompboy/
An other way : you can use castools (as Daniel said), or more easy : you launch MESS, open a K7 file and when you're loading into MESS the file, record the produced sound
Have fun with your Hector !
[EDIT] In case of trouble, I've made an VB exe to do this job (in french):
If you want it, please give me (by private message), your @

Merci.

With the potentiometre, As far as I know, there's only the 'mur de brique' game.

Re: Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs

Re: Hector 2HR+ Joystick Pin Outs
